Blessing is God’s favour over a particular situation of life: something that
brings genuine gladness, comfort or happiness. For example, God’s favour
to receive fruit of the womb and have a safe delivery: for gainful
employment and promotion.
Blessing is also living in good health and buoyant finances. Anointing also
is a blessing, which can be given only by God.
